The rules for using this site.
These terms cover this website and Brandwarden accounts. The paid service, where we watch and report fakes for your brand, runs under its own written agreement and a letter of authorisation signed by the brand owner.
01Who we are
This site is run by [company name, registration number and address], referred to here as Brandwarden, we or us.
02What this site shows
The numbers on this site come from tests we ran, and each one names its test. Example Bank, Example Pay and Example Mobile are stand-in brands, not real companies, and we name no real bank or brand without its written permission.
The dashboard on this site is a preview filled with one real test run. Nothing you do in it is saved or sent.
03Your account
- An account needs a confirmed email address and an authenticator app.
- Keep your sign in details safe, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
04Fair use
- Do not try to break into, overload or copy this site or its systems.
- Do not send us reports you know to be false, or pretend to act for a brand you do not represent.
- Do not use anything from this site to harm another person or business.
05Reports of fake pages
When you report a fake page to us, you confirm that what you send is true as far as you know. We check every report ourselves, and we only act for a brand that has authorised us in writing. Our analysts approve every takedown request before it is sent.
06Prices and the paid service
Prices are shown in naira on the pricing page. The paid service starts only once a written agreement and a letter of authorisation are signed, and that agreement sets out what we do, how we handle evidence and who is responsible for what.
07Our content and your brand
The text, pictures and software on this site belong to Brandwarden. Your brand names and logos stay yours; we use them only to protect your brand, as you authorise.
08Limits of what we promise
We work carefully, but this site is provided as it is, and the registries, hosts and platforms we report to make their own decisions. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of this site.
09The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the courts of [state to be confirmed].
